The Learning Creative

The Learning Creative is a Not For Profit, registered Charity with the aim of
reducing the sense of isolation that many people with learning differences
experience. As an organisation, we support explicit, structured,
multisensory instruction and only promote the use of all evidence based
programs, methods, and pedagogies.

'Explicit instruction involves using highly structured and sequenced steps to
teach a specific skill. With this approach, the educator intentionally aims to
teach students with (Learning Difficulties) using a series of actions in three
main stages: preparing for the lesson, interacting with students over the
course of the lesson, consolidating the lesson taught (Gauthier, Bissonnette Richard, 2013).'

The Learning Creative strives to support the community through our Camps
and Online Support for students, and Professional Learning for families and
educators.
